Hope you are all enjoying this weekend. Well, today I’m here to show you all my floral Thank you card which I made yesterday.
I took a textured white cardstock from little birdie’s premium fleece white cardstock pack and created background using itsy bitsy’s alcohol splash inks berry blast and gold canary. Now my basecard is ready.
I hand-drawn my florals, sponge dabbed using itsy bitsy’s berry blast alcohol splash ink. I used artline’s yoodle doodle pens to create some highlights as well as to create stems and then fussy cut those images and adhered them to a hand cut slope design, textured white cardstock using foam tape.
To add vintage look, I made a bow out of an old book paper and glued it right beneath the flowers. Now my floral bunch is ready. I added some pearls onto the centre of flowers and to the left corner of cardstock to add more interests. I hand wrote the sentiment Thank You using copic marker black on a piece of cardstock and placed it on bottom left corner using foam tape to create dimension. Finally i splattered some inks to add more beauty to my card.
I adhered this finished slope cut cardstock onto base cardstock(the one with the alcohol ink background). Ta Da My card is ready now.
Below is my daughter’s take on my card. She made her card using complimentary gift from Itsy Bitsy store. She simply arranged all the flowers that comes with the gift pack and centered a glittered flower saying that is the queen of all flowers :D. She also Top centered the sentiment Thank You exactly like the one in my card. So sweet of her. We had so much fun creating these cards. 🙂
I would like to link up my card to the following challenges:
Thank you all for your patience to go through my post. Thank you for stopping by. Do let me know that you came by, so that i can return the fragrance. 🙂
